Assistant Coach Boys Tennis, Greeley Central High School

Position at Greeley Central High School – Assistant Coach, Boys Tennis (Non-Exempt). Salary placement follows the Co-Curricular Salary schedule based on sport and in-district experience as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.

About the role

This person will work closely with the head coach, supporting their plan and running designated aspects of practice. They will also supervise students until they are picked up from practice and/or meets.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise game-day help
• Assist with supervision at activities and events
• Oversee assigned skill drills during practice
• Ensure student safety until pickup after practice/meets

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR certification
• Completion of CHSAA test and concussion-education regulations
• Prior coaching experience in tennis preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred

• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards
• Ability to perform all duties of the position
• Leadership in social, emotional, psychological, and academic support for students
• Flexibility, conflict resolution, stress tolerance, quick decision-making

Work Environment

• Ability to sit for long periods
• Visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity required
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
• Regular attendance is required
