Job Description: Assistant Clinical Director Leadership + Clinical Practice Location: Pittsford, NY Position Type: Full-time | Primarily In-Person with Hybrid Flexibility Salary: $90,000$95,000, commensurate with experience Lead. We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Director to join a growing, mission-driven mental health practice. This is a unique opportunity for an LMSW or LMHC who wants the best of both worlds: the ability to continue practicing clinically while also helping lead a team, strengthen operations, and shape the future of a growing organization. This is not a purely administrative leadership position. You will remain connected to the work that brought you into the field, maintaining a small clinical caseload of approximately 12 direct-service hours per week, while spending the remainder of your time focused on leadership, staff supervision, operations, and practice development. The Opportunity As Assistant Clinical Director, you will become a key member of the leadership team and work closely with the Founder/Director. You'll have an opportunity to influence how the practice operates, support and develop staff, improve processes, and help create an exceptional experience for both patients and clinicians. Leadership & Operations Help lead the day-to-day administrative operations of the practiceSet priorities for the administrative team in partnership with the Founder/DirectorSupervise, train, onboard, and support administrative staffProvide constructive feedback and address performance challengesDevelop and refine policies, procedures, and workflows as the practice growsOversee areas including referrals, phones, insurance billing, patient collections, and staff coordinationPartner with clinical leadership to improve patient services, operational efficiency, and business strategyHelp create a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment Clinical Practice You'll also continue doing the clinical work you enjoy. Maintain approximately 12 direct-service hours per weekProvide clinical services within your area of interest or specialtyCollaborate with other clinicians as part of an interdisciplinary teamHelp support a culture centered on compassionate, evidence-based, whole-person care Who Will Thrive Here?
