Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate clinic schedules, patient appointments, and maintain necessary lists and schedules.
- Perform clerical duties related to maintaining and updating medical records, chart accuracy, and current data.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from staff and personnel.
- Ensure availability of office and medical supplies, and process information related to patient care.
- Communicate effectively by answering the telephone, directing calls to appropriate individuals, and taking messages.
- Collaborate with other personnel within the medical unit and other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and support staff to coordinate daily patient care activities.

- Get vital signs on patients and provide stand-ins for providers as needed.
- Must be able to work off of multiple task lists.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable with computers and ability to use/adapt to EMR and other jail programs.
- Patient-facing position.
- Must be able to work off of multiple task lists.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with EMR systems.
