Assistant Children's House Teacher

About the role

Beck’s Montessori Accelerated Learning Center in Eagan is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Teacher to support our Preschool classroom!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in all aspects of the development and implementation of the educational environment and curriculum.
• Develop positive relationships with children and families.
• Participate in professional development activities designated by the Director.
• Maintain a neat, clean, well-organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy.
• Ensure that the classroom and associated areas (including playground) meet all licensing, safety, and health requirements.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Requirements

• MN ECE Assistant Teacher Qualified.
• Previous experience in a licensed classroom setting.
• Montessori experience preferred.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Pay

$17–19/hr; based on education and experience
