About the role

Juanita High School is seeking a qualified Assistant Cheerleading Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is at the Asst Coach level and will run from June 2, 2026 to July 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Cheerleading Coach in planning and executing cheerleading practices and competitions.
• Assist in recruiting and training new cheerleaders.
• Participate in team meetings and other school events as needed.

Requirements

• Valid "hands on" First Aid, AED, and CPR Adult & Child certification upon hire.
• Proof of full COVID vaccination.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 19 for the Asst Coach position.

Qualifications

• No benefits assigned to this position.
• Season: 06/02/26 to 07/31/2027.
• Certificated Stipend: $7190 per the season.
• Classified hourly rate: $19.97 per hour (360-hour calendar).

Skills

• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work well with youth.
• Experience with cheerleading techniques and routines.
