Assistant Caregiver - Full-time

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as requested by certified caregivers, nursing staff, and/or supervisors.
• Transport/Accompany residents to recreational and/or social events.
• Aid in writing letters/correspondence.
• Organize and read mail.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as bed making, laundry, and taking out trash.
• Maintain supplies and monitor resident functioning.
• Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with residents and co-workers.
• Communicate well with residents and co-workers.
• Attend orientation, in-service training sessions, and staff meetings.
• Participate in additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current CPR and First Aid cards.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) Test.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification (may vary by department).

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license.
• Fingerprint card.
• Current First Aid and Heart Saver certification.
