Assistant Cafe Manager - West University

About the role

Help build and lead a team from day one. We’re looking for an Assistant Café Manager to help launch our Houston location and play a critical role in building a strong, people-first culture. This role partners closely with the Café Manager to drive operations, develop the team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of café operations: staffing, scheduling, inventory, and performance
• Coach and develop team members through realtime feedback and training
• Maintain high standards for service, quality, and cleanliness
• Help drive accountability and performance across the team
• Step in to lead shifts and problemsolve in real time

What We're Looking For

• Leadership experience in coffee, food service, or retail
• Strong operational mindset with attention to detail
• Able to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Passion for developing people and building strong teams

Compensation & Training

• Pay Base Pay: $14/hour
• Training Differential: +$9/hour while in training
• Designed to help offset the absence of tip share during the training period
