Assistant Cafe Manager

About the role

The Assistant Café Manager contributes to the success of the café by assisting in day-to-day operations. You will use your knowledge and strengths to help the barista team grow, to help create and maintain a better guest-first culture every shift.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing shift operations and daily tasks
• Ordering and inventory management
• Daily paperwork, reporting, and logs
• Food and drink preparation, safety, and sanitation
• Employee management, including scheduling, training, and development

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years café experience
• 1 year management experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach
• Must be able to lift/carry packages up to 50 pounds
