Responsibilities
- Aid project teams in using Bentley engineering software, guiding workflows from 3D modeling to design and production.
- Contribute to the creation of software templates and resource files that align with client standards for efficient roadway, drainage, and utility design.
- Provide technical support to project teams through online training, direct troubleshooting, and maintaining documentation of support solutions.
- Support project setup and configuration to ensure efficient CAD workflows.
- Test, refine, and document CAD-based workflows using the latest software and hardware technologies.
- Aid in the creation and maintenance of CAD training materials, including manuals and instructional videos.
- Troubleshoot design file, workspace, and file management issues.
- Stay updated on emerging industry trends and technological advancements to identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend software plugins and extensions to enhance program capabilities.
- Aid in managing CAD software licensing, version upgrades, and deployment coordination with IT.
- Develop macros, scripts, or automation routines to reduce repetitive tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design production using Bentley software.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads (Connect Edition), ProjectWise, PowerGeopak.
- Familiarity with ESRI, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoTurn, ConceptStation, LumenRT, OpenBridge, SignCAD, StormCAD, and SUDA preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication to provide technical support to project teams.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with occasional overtime.
