Assistant CAD Artist

Responsibilities

• Locate CADs in the design server in accordance with style numbers, then upload and arrange them to FileMaker
• Update CADs with appropriate information for catalog and showroom binders
• Fulfill group CAD requests via FileMaker and email for jpeg images to supplement the sales team database (called OA)
• Create and email presentation sheets to factories
• Afford assistance in recoloring and rendering CADs in Photoshop
• Occasionally assist CAD Artists in creating flat sketches
• Create digital color palates

Requirements/Qualifications

• Basic experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
• Filemaker experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Positive, friendly & reassuring demeanor
• Ability to take initiative and work independently; capable of executing tasks without constant supervision
• Ability to maintain discretion & confidentiality
