About the role
This position interacts with the public and disseminates information to prospective vendors. This position uses contracts, quotes, and other statistical data to create and electronically store purchase orders. This position schedules and operates as the primary point of contact for city auctions by reviewing department lists, uploading items online, advertising, and monitoring online activity and property pick up. This position assists the Buyer with purchasing card maintenance and monthly statement processing.

Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- Two years’ experience in purchasing or business-related field
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License
