Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid the Buyer in creating assortment and buy sheets using retail metrics and analysis to meet company goals.
- Maintain an organized system to manage purchase orders from start to finish, ensuring proper receipt flow for seasonal, replenishment, e-commerce, special events, and new stores.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Vendors, Buyers, Planners, Allocators, Visual Merchandisers, Marketing, E-commerce, Item-setup, SSMC, Warehouse personnel, Accounting, and Field team to establish rapport and manage relationships.
- Manage replenishment business based on appropriate turn, sell-through, and model stock levels, coordinate with the Buyer on timing and processing of markdowns, promotions, RTVs, and transfers.
- Partner with sample coordinators to manage Branded and Exclusive Brand samples for e-commerce, shoots, catalogs, marketing, and visual merchandising.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve category/departmental issues as they arise and re-prioritize workload as needed.
- Compile and review financial sales data with the Buyer to ensure accuracy and make informed strategic decisions.
- Provide ad hoc reports on product performance using key retail metrics upon request.
- Collaborate with the SSMC partner to ensure accuracy of purchase orders.
