Assistant Buyer

Duties

• Assist the Buyer in analyzing market trends to identify and develop new brands that drive maximum sales.
• Support Buyer in sourcing and contacting appropriate vendors for merchandise; negotiate terms to secure optimal deals.
• Help coordinate proper store-level distribution of all products and merchandising concepts under Buyer's direction.
• Aid Buyer with vendor relationship management and contract administration.
• Travel regularly to stores with Buyer to connect with teams.

Skills

• Bilingual fluency in English and Korean
• Strong negotiation skills to support Buyer in securing favorable vendor agreements
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or collaboratively under Buyer's guidance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 1-2 years retail buying/merchandising experience preferred
• Passion for urban fashion and streetwear trends
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
