ASSISTANT BUILDING ENGINEER

About the role

The Assistant Building Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing technical support to facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Provide training and guidance to facility staff on proper system operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and upgrades.
• Document all work performed and maintain records of maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance or engineering.
• Knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

$50,000 - $55,000 annually.

Schedule
