This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems in medium to large-sized buildings and industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Apply standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of your own work and work within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $58,024 to $70,720 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
