Job Summary
Operates the teller line in lieu of the Branch Services Manager, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures. Oversees staff, implements directives, and assists with training.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED. Two years of education and/or training preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Notary Public, preferred.
- Experience: Two to three years of related banking experience and/or training. General PC knowledge. Prior cash handling experience. Thorough knowledge of deposit-related regulations. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Essential Functions
- A: Job Specific:
- Maintains teller line staffing and ensures security measures are implemented.
- Oversees branch operations, assigns tasks, and performs audits.
- Completes and processes holds/CTR's, maintains cash levels, and reconciles ATM, vault, and night deposits.
- Trains new staff, answers questions, and resolves customer complaints.
- Performs back office tasks, balances the branch, and enforces cash handling procedures.
- Communicates with the Branch Services Manager and manages employee relations.
