Assistant Branch Manager - Sales Manager Trainee (Bilingual Preferred)

Overview & Responsibilities

This entry-level financial services position offers a clear path to management within a growing company that rewards performance and gives back to the community. As an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM), you will complete an 18‑ to 24‑month paid on‑the‑job training program that covers all aspects of branch operations and management, after which you will be assigned your own branch to manage. Promotion to Branch Manager typically requires relocation, and a full relocation package is provided for moves over 50 miles.

The role is 100% onsite. Your primary focus is helping customers meet their financial goals by actively seeking new loan business, educating customers on credit improvement and debt consolidation, guiding them through the loan application process, and making payment reminder calls when needed. You will evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, make credit decisions, administer loan closings, and process insurance claims. In addition, you will assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training, develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, promote the company’s core values, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales or related field.
• 1 year or more of customer‑facing sales experience (e.g., retail sales, goal‑oriented, incentive‑based) preferred.
• Spanish speaking skills desirable but not required.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as a team member in a fast‑paced environment while successfully navigating priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products (eligibility based on a state department of insurance criminal background check).
• Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role; full relocation package provided for moves over 50 miles.

Pay

Competitive salary of $45,000 per year (paid hourly) plus an uncapped monthly bonus that averages $8,000 annually.
