The Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work at Florida International University (FIU) is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor (tenured/tenure track) in the Department of Epidemiology. The college is ranked No. 36 among all public universities in the United States and holds the 15th position in NIH funding for public universities.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in extramurally funded research
  • Teach and advise graduate students
  • Provide university, community and professional service

Qualifications

  • A doctoral degree in epidemiology or related field or MD with advanced training in epidemiology
  • A track record of collaborative research and peer-reviewed publications
  • Demonstrated ability to obtain research grants
  • Effective teaching in the relevant discipline

Pay
