About the Role

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Health at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School has a full-time position available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on experience, for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician, as a REI subspecialist, in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Join a highly collaborative REI team in providing the full scope of care across the subspecialty, including infertility care and assisted reproductive technologies at our recently renovated, state-of-the-art IVF lab, fertility preservation services, reproductive surgery, hormone therapy, evaluation and management of PCOS / androgen disorders and other disorders of the reproductive endocrine system.
  • Perform research across the spectrum of basic, translational science and clinical trials; candidates who qualify and are interested in protected research time should consider applying.
  • Participate in the ACGME-accredited REI fellowship program and have strong interest in teaching and supervising fellows, residents, and medical students.

Requirements

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI)
  • Experience in providing clinical REI/GYN services at University Hospital and RBHS affiliates
  • Strong interest in teaching and supervising fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Ability to conduct research and participate in an ACGME-accredited REI fellowship program

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Successful completion of a subspecialty fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
