Assistant/Associate Professor - Physician Assistant Program
Responsibilities
- Selecting applicants for admission to the PA program
- Providing student instruction
- Evaluating student performance
- Academic counseling of students
- Assuring the availability of remedial instruction
- Designing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the curriculum
- Evaluating the program
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Three (3) years of clinical experience with a history of precepting PA students or other medical trainees, or one (1) year of clinical experience with additional training in teaching, education, or involvement in an academic medical training program (PA, MD, DO)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Current NCCPA Certification
- Eligibility for Tennessee Physician Assistant State Licensure
