Assistant/Associate Professor Or Professor, OB/GYN - GYN Subspecialist - 498097
About the role
The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, OB/GYN subspecialist to join our team at the University of Toledo Medical Center and ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Our institution features a medical school hospital with a fully accredited OBGYN residency program, active robotic program, gender health seed grant, is currently home to approximately 20 active residents. The department boasts a well-established Level 4 Maternal and Level 3 Neonatal Childbirth unit and Gyn practice in addition to other Gyn subspecialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive consultative care to a large local population of GYN patients
- Call structuring through already existing OBGYN hospitalist group and residency program
- Primary practice site within affiliated institution, although support of a small OBGYN presence (outpatient clinic) at a non-OBGYN inpatient medical school hospital an option and eventual plan after additional recruitment
- Potential option (if desired) for income augmentation via inpatient OBGYN hospitalist program
Requirements
The minimum qualifications include:
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and MIGS or URPSSubspecialties in any of the following:
Experience in an academic setting and a strong interest in teaching and mentorship is a plus
Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position.
Experience in working as a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
