Assistant, Associate Professor or Full Professor of Oral Medicine and Radiology (Clinician Educator)

About the role

Assume the role of Director of the Division of Radiology, leading the Division in education, clinical service and research, supporting all departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Division of Radiology in education, clinical service and research, supporting all departments
• Contribute to the scientific knowledge of dental radiology through research
• Assure the improvement of digital radiography capture, interpretation throughout the school by improving infrastructure and workflow
• Assist both members in the Department of Oral Medicine, as well as the school, in general, to assist in their radiologic clinical and research needs
• Establish relationships with the international oral maxillofacial radiology community and participate in interprofessional activities within the broader University of Pennsylvania community
• Prepare the school for its next accreditation related to radiology education, training and regulatory outcomes
• Potentially develop a fellowship in Oral Radiology possibly leading to a residency program in the same discipline

Requirements

DMD/DDS from USA preferred

Two year CODA certified OMR residency program from US/Canada

American Board of OMR Eligible/Certified

Five Year Experience With Teaching And Research Preferred
