Assistant/Associate/Professor of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery
About the role
The Department of Otolaryngology at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, seeks a full-time Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon, at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Teach Otolaryngology residents, other residencies, and medical students
- Participate in clinical and/or basic science research
- Take calls and obtain privileges at several hospitals in the Las Vegas area
Requirements
- MD/DO degree
- Completed residency from an ACGME accredited program prior to employment
- Board eligible/certified in Otolaryngology
- Fellowship training in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery required
- Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license
- Malpractice insurance and successful credentialing by Southern Nevada teaching hospitals and/or clinics
Qualifications
- Educational credentials, terminal degree, experience in an academic medical institution or equivalency
- Research and scholarly activity
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong surgical skills
- Ability to teach effectively
- Experience with clinical and/or basic science research
