Assistant/Associate/Professor of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery

About the role

The Department of Otolaryngology at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, seeks a full-time Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon, at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Teach Otolaryngology residents, other residencies, and medical students
• Participate in clinical and/or basic science research
• Take calls and obtain privileges at several hospitals in the Las Vegas area

Requirements

• MD/DO degree
• Completed residency from an ACGME accredited program prior to employment
• Board eligible/certified in Otolaryngology
• Fellowship training in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery required
• Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license
• Malpractice insurance and successful credentialing by Southern Nevada teaching hospitals and/or clinics

Qualifications

• Educational credentials, terminal degree, experience in an academic medical institution or equivalency
• Research and scholarly activity

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong surgical skills
• Ability to teach effectively
• Experience with clinical and/or basic science research
