Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics-Cardiology
About the role
The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) seeks Fetal & Pediatric Echocardiology candidates for a pediatric cardiology faculty position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Patient care duties including inpatient, outpatient and echocardiography Satellite clinics in the region
- On-call duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology
- Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Academic efforts including original research and QI
- Imaging QI for Echo
- To perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD/DO or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for licensure in Illinois
- BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology
- 3 years pediatric residency/3years pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent
- Significant experience or formal training in Pediatric & Fetal Echocardiography
- Pediatric and congenital transesophageal echocardiography

The budgeted salary range for the position is $230,000 to $313,933 per year. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
