About the role
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck Medical Center of USC is seeking an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Total Joint Replacement surgery to join our expanding clinical practice in Los Angeles, CA. This position provides an outstanding opportunity for an individual with excellent clinical skills and an interest in teaching and research. A faculty appointment at a level appropriate to experience and training is available at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in total joint replacement surgery
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in clinical research
- Contribute to the academic mission of the department
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Experience in total joint replacement surgery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Completed fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery (preferred)

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $330,000-$600,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is full-time 10-hour days (exempt).
