Assistant / Associate Professor-NTTA for Nutrition Programs
About the role
The School of Health Professions is seeking a full time, non-tenure track professor to teach in the undergraduate Didactic Program in Dietetics and the graduate MS/RDN professional program with potential to assume Program Director role.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to management and administration of accredited programs.
- Teach 24 credits per academic year in the BS and MS/RDN nutrition programs.
- Participate in departmental, school and campus committees as appointed.
- Engage in departmental and campus recruitment events.
- Promote student retention.
- Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation
- Maintain high academic standards utilizing appropriate student evaluation mechanisms for assigned courses/programs; analyze and implement changes as part of these programmatic and Departmental outcomes
Requirements
- College-level teaching and administrative experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program.
- Excellent skills in leadership, supervision, written and oral communication skills.
- A master of science degree, be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and have three years of professional experience post credentialing.
