Assistant/Associate Professor, Movement Disorder
Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Neurology seeks a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders neurologist to join the Division at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The Yale Comprehensive Movement Disorders Center delivers holistic, patient-centered care that optimizes the human experience and advances research. The Center integrates a multidisciplinary advanced care model, serving over 7,000 comprehensive treatment plans across specialized clinics, including:
- Adams Center for Parkinson and Atypical Parkinsonian Disorders
- Memory and Movement Aging Clinic
- Wilson Disease Center of Excellence (one of seven nationwide)
- Yale Center for Restless Legs Syndrome (one of ten RLS Foundation Quality Care Centers nationwide)
- Functional movement disorder program
- Therapeutic botulinum toxins clinics
- Comprehensive advanced therapeutics and deep brain stimulation program
Close collaboration with experts in neurosurgery, behavioral neurology, neurogenetics, sleep neurology, neuropsychology, psychiatry, autonomics, radiology, neuro-ophthalmology, and pharmacy enhances compassionate care and cutting-edge research.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients across the full spectrum of movement disorders using conservative approaches, medication management, chemodenervation, and deep brain stimulation candidacy and programming
- Contribute to basic science, translational, and clinical research, including biomarker discovery, disease progression markers, and evaluation of behavioral and pharmacologic interventions
- Educate and mentor the next generation of subspecialty experts, including two-year movement disorders clinical and research fellows
- Pursue individual programmatic development and goal discovery across varied academic interests within the division
Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board certified/board eligible in Neurology
- Completed fellowship in Movement Disorders
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut

The upcoming Adams Neurosciences Center (ANC) at Yale New Haven Hospital will serve as an integrated inpatient academic hub for diagnosing, treating, and investigating complex neurological and neurosurgical disorders.
