Assistant/Associate/Professor and/or Program Director of the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship

About the role

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Professor and/or Program Director of the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship. The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking applications for two full-time faculty positions in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Qualified applicants may also be considered for the Program Director role.

Responsibilities

• Patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting
• Supervision and teaching of Internal Medicine Residents and Medical Students
• Planning for a Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship program
• Teaching experiences affiliated with the University Medical Center (UMC)

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree and successfully completed an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency training
• ACGME accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship training
• Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Nevada State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA License
• Nevada medical license prior to start date
• Maintain malpractice coverage meeting credentialing requirements
• Obtain privileges at University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed
