The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine within the Keck School of Medicine seeks applications for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Transfusion Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical service to three hospitals located on the Health Science Campus (Keck Hospital, Norris Cancer Hospital, and Los Angeles General Medical Center).
- Participate in teaching in the medical school and residency/fellowship programs associated with an academic medical center.
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and clinical service.
Requirements
- Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Eligible for a California Medical license.
- Certified in Clinical Pathology.
- Certified or board eligible in Transfusion Medicine.
- Interest in general laboratory medicine along with hemostasis and the diagnosis and management of coagulopathies is desirable.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong background in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine, with a proven track record of excellence in both teaching and clinical practice.
