Responsibilities
- Work with the Hematology Oncology Division healthcare team to provide patients with medical care services within the standard of care of patients.
- Round with the Hematology Oncology team, including APPs, Residents, Medical Students and Fellows.
- Also, the successful candidate will have independent rounding responsibilities.
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Participate in the teaching programs of the Department of Medicine, the College of Medicine, and the University.
- Participate in research trials that align with the goals of the Department of Medicine.
- Participate in service assignments of importance to the Department of Medicine, the College of Medicine, and the University.
Requirements
- MD or equivalent required
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency
- Fellowship trained in Hematology Oncology
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology Oncology
- Current licensure in the State of Ohio required, prior to beginning the position

The Division of Hematology Oncology to the Department of Medicine is actively recruiting a physician to join an academic faculty team that provides patient care in the inpatient and outpatient setting, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, as well as opportunities for research.
