Assistant/Associate/Full Teaching Professor – Radiochemical Manufacturing Emphasis Area (Dual Posted with 60732)

This is a full-time, on-site position in the Radiochemical Manufacturing Emphasis Area of the Nuclear Medicine Program. The final title (Assistant, Associate, or Full Teaching Professor) will depend on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

About The Department/Program

The Nuclear Medicine Program is an accredited, entry-level program within the Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences. It delivers integrated didactic, laboratory, and clinical education and maintains active partnerships with affiliated clinical sites. Faculty provide direct oversight to ensure educational quality, student progression, and compliance with accreditation standards. The Radiochemical Manufacturing Emphasis Area will reside academically in the Nuclear Medicine Program.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop radiochemical manufacturing courses
• Advise and mentor students
• Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate student internships
• Conduct site visits
• Maintain relationships with internship and industry partners
• Support student recruitment and retention efforts
• Participate in program assessment activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Radiochemical Manufacturing curriculum and student learning experiences
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this position:

• Earned master’s degree or higher in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, Nuclear Engineering, Health Physics, Medical Physics, Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Microbiology, or a closely related field

Candidates will be evaluated on:

• Advanced degree in applicable field
• Professional experience in radiopharmaceutical manufacturing, radioisotope production, GMP-regulated manufacturing, quality assurance/quality control, radiation safety, or related industries
