About the Role

The Business Economics and Public Policy Department at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for open-rank tenure-track/tenured faculty positions to begin Fall 2027.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Economics or a related area (or ABD status for Assistant Professor rank).
  • Strong record (or demonstrated promise for Assistant rank) in both research and teaching.
  • Ability to teach at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.

Preference will be given to candidates with strength and interest in applied econometrics, with a focus on energy or environmental economics, industrial organization, and/or economic policy.

Applications must be received by November 16, 2026 to ensure full consideration, though the position will remain open until filled. Virtual interviews may be conducted leading up to the ASSA meetings in Washington D.C. in January 2027.
