About the role
The Department of Medicine at the University of Florida is seeking applications for a full or part-time medical oncologist for a clinician-researcher track position in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant Professor rank or higher.
Responsibilities
- Primarily focus on clinical care
- Contribute significantly to clinical and translational research
- Participate in team-based research initiatives
- Engage in teaching students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and inpatient settings
- Collaborate in various activities, including subspecialty and multidisciplinary clinics at the UF Health main campus, cancer case and research conferences, and clinical trials
- May include an assignment at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center
Requirements
- Board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology
- Eligible for a Florida Medical License or eligible for a Medical Faculty Certificate
