Assistant/ Associate Designer( Kids/ Junior’s )

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant/Associate Designer with experience in junior’s, kids, or tween business to support a busy design team. This is a temp-to-hire or full-time opportunity with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities

• Create clean, feminine fashion sketches and flats in Adobe Illustrator.
• Translate concepts into sketches that clearly communicate construction and fit intent.
• Partner with the Design Director on seasonal development, updates, and revisions.
• Support line development across juniors, kids, and possibly women’s/missy categories.
• Assist with design updates and other development needs as they arise.

Requirements

• Experience as a Design Assistant or Associate Designer in private label preferred.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills, especially flat sketching and silhouette development.
• Solid understanding of garment construction and fit.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback.
• On-site five days per week in Los Angeles.
