About the role
Aecon Engineering Services Inc. (United) seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the power business and the company's leadership organization. Key responsibilities include coordinating project engineering manager and project information manager tasks, supporting procurement processes, assembling and analyzing information, preparing reports, and assisting with departmental coordination.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced project administrative duties in support of the power business and company leadership.
- Coordinate with project engineering manager and project information manager to provide general project administration, document control, meeting coordination, and other project-based activities.
- Support procurement process by developing procurement requisitions and purchase orders using SAP software.
- Assemble and analyze information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence, and memoranda.
- Help coordinate activities across departments.
- Arrange and make notifications of appointments and travel reservations/arrangements.
- Prepare materials in final form from rough drafts, utilizing technical terminology and combining materials from various sources.
- Plan layout of complex reports and statistical tables.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent and advanced secretarial training.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of related experience, with 4 years preferred.
- Skills: Mid to expert knowledge of commonly used personal computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Working knowledge of SAP software is preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Organized, proactive, operates with urgency, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, excellent organizational skills, and thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures.

Pay
Base Salary Range: $60,000.00 -- $80,000.00 annually.
