We insure a variety of businesses across ten states and are recruiting for an Assistant Adjuster to join the team in our Maitland, FL office. Essential Functions Complete state required contactsMake timely indemnity paymentsFrequent contact with employers, claimants, providersMaintain file diary; keep all files current according to company standardsFile all required State forms - complete EDI fieldsHandle files within company and State guidelinesComplete all assignments and requests from adjusterSpecial projects as assigned by managementProvide ongoing support to Adjusters on assigned claim files Knowledge & Experience Needed General Workers’ Compensation claims background not required, but helpful. Florida/Georgia State claims handling experience preferred but not needed.
