The Role
The AAE is the backbone of a successful account team, helping to keep us organized and informed, while also assisting with the execution of integrated communications campaigns. You’ll work across 3-4 Consumer Lifestyle brands, focusing on programs that include earned media storytelling, gifting and influencer programming, events, and bold creative platforms.
Experience You’ll Bring
- Media Relations
- Ability to build tight and relevant media lists using resources such as Cision and Muck Rack
- A baseline understanding of the earned media landscape, including cultivating and maintaining relationships with key media
- Experience crafting pitches that break through inboxes
- A solid foundation of some early media relationships you have cultivated in your early career
- A PASSION for conducting press outreach, building relationships and being resourceful to secure coverage
- Ability to monitor for coverage (client and competitive) + flag with appropriate context
- Influencer Programming
- Experience building relevant influencer rosters
- S supporting content review process
- Collecting and report back-end creator metrics with context
- Foundational ability to form relationships with and manage influencers/managers
- Facilitating breakthrough influencer giftings
- Event + Logistics Management
- Experience researching/vetting venues
- Building into run of shows + client briefing documents
- Managing key logistics from transportation to itineraries, event-centric gifting and more
- Project Management
- Serving as key project manager of workstreams + your team

- Client Management
- Contribute on client calls and draft client correspondence in a succinct manner that demonstrates your expertise and command of the subject/project that you are owning
- Earn client and team trust by driving the day-to-day execution of client and account projects and deliverables with support from the team, flagging potential challenges and opportunities to senior team members
- Measurement & Merchandising
- Manage clips and media placement coverage reports/ tracking documents
- Provide ongoing monitoring for client and competitor coverage
- Own ongoing client reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) and trackers, keeping them updated and accurate
- Identify trends or opportunities through reporting and monitoring, evaluating the ‘why’ behind the data
- Support programmatic reports (e.g., event recap, mailer recap, influencer campaign recap, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of PR experience
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Proactive and curious mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
