ASSIST MANAGER BANQUETS

About the role

We are looking for a Banquets Manager to join our team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. This position offers highly competitive wages, an exceptional benefits package, and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, and recommend discipline or termination when appropriate.
• Serve as the primary supervisor for function rooms, ensuring proper setup, visual inspection, and supervision during events.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, service, beverage, convention services, and engineering staff, as well as guests, to ensure timely execution of events, quality service, and compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Supervise the clean-up of function rooms and proper breakdown and storage of equipment.
• Enter billing information into the point of sale/automated sales system and process payroll for each event.
• Check staff attendance according to schedules, adjust station assignments, and provide quality service during functions.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, guests, management, and co-workers.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excelling interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Two years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior Hilton brand knowledge is a plus.

Pay

$53,000 to $57,000 per year.

Schedule

Varying schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
