Asset & Wealth Management - Tax Senior Manager
About the role
A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.
- Helping organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.
- Helping our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Helping our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
- Leading large-scale projects to achieve successful outcomes
- Innovating and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintaining exceptional standards of operational excellence in every activity
- Interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success
- Building trust with multi-level teams and stakeholders through open communication
- Motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems
- Serving as a strategic advisor, leveraging specialized knowledge and industry trends
- Providing strategic input into the firm’s business strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of compliance for financial partnerships
- Knowledge of structuring funds to limit tax liability
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs
- Experience building and utilizing networks of client relationships
- Experience managing resource requirements and project workflow
- Experience creating an atmosphere of trust in teams
- Experience developing new relationships and selling new services
- Experience innovating through new and existing technologies
- Experience utilizing digitization tools to enhance engagements
Benefits
The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
