Asset & Wealth Management, Partner Family Office Advisor, Vice President- New York
About the role
This role is in our Partner Family Office. As a New Private Wealth Advisor (NPWA), you will leverage your unique background and experiences to build a business within Goldman Sachs, attain the skills needed to build strong relationships with firm's partners, senior executives, and related stakeholders, enhance your investment acumen through creating asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations to clients, work with a team to source and develop new business opportunities, as well as to support existing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leverage your unique background and experiences to build a business within Goldman Sachs
- Attain the skills needed to build strong relationships with firm's partners, senior executives, and related stakeholders
- Enhance your investment acumen through creating asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations to clients
- Work with a team to source and develop new business opportunities, as well as to support existing client relationships
- Participate in the NPWA Development Framework to gain a comprehensive level of general knowledge and to acquire specialized expertise within the team
Requirements
We're looking for professionals with a record of academic and professional achievement, an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with a desire to work in a team-oriented environment, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and foster a strong network of relationships, a creative approach to problem solving and developing innovative solutions for clients, self-motivation and ability to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment, demonstrated interest in financial, economic and global capital markets, strong client focus, business development and relationship management skills, strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills, commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity, and prior sales, fundraising, business development or investing experience a plus, but not required.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must successfully complete the Series 7, 66 and 3 exams within three months of starting at the firm.

Note: The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $270,000, and you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
