About the role

The Asset Visibility Logistical Analyst is responsible for conducting logistical operations in supply accountability and asset visibility procedures. They input property book level entries and adjustments, report directly to the Asset Management Team Chief/Supervisor, and assist in developing resolutions when correct actions are required.

Responsibilities

  • Be GCSS-Army certified at the Property Book Level.
  • Experienced with the Decision Support Tool (DST) system; inclusive of Proposed Sourcing Decisions (PSD).
  • Works within the framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures and the same in addressing corrective actions needed to resolving property book matters.
  • Operate Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) at the property book level; processing lateral transfers, conducting standard hand receipt and property management actions, Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL)s and other required property book level transactions.
  • Ensure all authorized assets listed in the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) and Modification table of organization and equipment (MTOE) are on hand or on a valid request.
  • Execute property transfers, receipt, storage and issue activities including but not limited to posting and editing documentation within all appropriate STAMIS.
  • Ensure that all assets disposition instructions are executed in a timely manner.
  • Validate and ensure material readiness.
  • Perform analysis of equipment on hand requirements (Class II, III, IV, V, and VII).
  • Review all authorized documents periodically.
  • Requisitions material to meet mission requirements.
  • Conduct inventory preparations, documentation, and reporting per prescribed regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all property authenticated directives within established guidelines.
  • Identify equipment status to include completeness, serviceability, and accountability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned per team chief/supervisor to meet organizational/operational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, GCSS-Army certified at the Property Book Level.
  • Driver's License: Valid REAL ID State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
  • Public Trust: NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
  • CAC: Common Access Card.
  • U.S. Citizenship: Proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
  • Driving Privileges: Able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
  • Army Regulations: Familiar With Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) certified at the property book and unit supply level Logistics information Warehouse (LIW) Decision Support Tool (DST Logistics Information System (LIS) Logistics Integrated Database (LIDB) Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP) Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP) Force Management System Web Site (FMSWEB)
  • Supply Regulations: Extensive Knowledge of all applicable Army supply regulations and DA Pamphlets.
  • Experience: 5 years' experience with Property Book Operations at the Battalion or Brigade level.
  • Knowledge: Must possess in-depth expert knowledge of U.S. Army logistics and supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to supply/property book accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills, possessing basic proficiency in English language (reading and writing), arithmetic, and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment. Ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines. Extensive knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PPT, Word).
