Asset Protection Specialist

About the role

As the Asset Protection Specialist, no one day is ever the same! You are focused on preventing loss and controlling shrink by monitoring various areas of the store for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities. You work to identify potential concerns through use of our video surveillance and other systems and apprehend in accordance with company policy, local and state laws with safety as the prevailing priority. The Asset Protection Specialist ensures the store is a safe and secure environment for our customers, associates, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor various areas of the store for fraud, compliance discrepancies, and other related activities.
• Identify potential concerns using video surveillance and other systems.
• Apprehend individuals in accordance with company policy and local/state laws, prioritizing safety.
• Ensure the store remains a safe and secure environment for customers, associates, and business partners.
• Work in varying environments, including inside the store and the outside perimeter.
• Approach challenges positively and build relationships with others.
• Teach and guide others as needed.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or other relevant fields.
• Commitment to prioritizing safety and welfare of yourself and others.
• Ability to work in varying environments without hesitation.
• Positive and kind approach to challenges.
• Enthusiasm for building relationships and teaching others.
