Responsibilities

• Contribute to shortage reduction and investigations
• Work closely with the General Manager to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain the employee entrance and track deliveries
• Perform store physical security checks and make recommendations
• Conduct figure 8's and move throughout the store
• Provide customer service and greet customers professionally
• Conduct safety inspections and communicate hazards to management
• Ensure regular time and attendance

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff and management
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years of retail Loss Prevention experience
• Basic understanding of retail or security
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours at a time
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs

Qualifications

• Full understanding of Five Below policy and procedure
• Has general product knowledge in key departmental areas

• Ability to work independently
