About the Role

Under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Associate monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations, and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implements store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location.

Responsibilities

• Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures.
• Maintain the integrity of physical inventory by overseeing reports and audits on a daily and monthly basis.
• Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
• Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, paperwork controls, and shortage awareness.
• Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years of Asset Protection experience in a large-volume retail environment.
• Certification required where applicable by jurisdiction.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Wicklander-Zulawski Certification required.

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $24.76 - $30.94 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
