Asset Protection Associate "Part Time"

About the role

The Asset Protection Associate works in both distribution center and retail store environments, ensuring the security and safety of the company's premises and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the property to secure premises and personnel
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstances
• Confronts violators of policy and procedures professionally to redirect behavior
• Inspects buildings and access points
• Aids in restraining trespassers or other violators
• Maintains authorized DC truck yard traffic using company tools and procedures
• Supports investigations by conducting surveillances and gathering facts
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Maintains the organization's stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Contributes to the Inventory/Asset Protection team by accomplishing results as needed
• Promotes awareness of company policies, procedures, and directives
• Submits new and innovative ideas to enhance job functions and company best practices
• Provides assistance across business groups as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of related security experience
• Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers preferred

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Report writing experience preferred

Benefits

• Compensation range: $17.40 - $22.60 per hour
• Overtime pay available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members
