The Hermès Maison Madison Flagship Boutique, opened in 1983, focuses on providing extraordinary service to clients as part of the New York Region. The Asset Protection Department ensures the safety and security of all Hermès employees, premises, and products. This role reports to the Asset Protection Manager and works to mitigate risk through training and partnerships, leveraging cutting-edge technology to support clients and stores.

About the Role

  • Responsible for the Asset Protection Program at the Maison Madison Flagship Boutique.
  • Conducts Physical Security/Asset Protection trainings in partnership with boutique and Senior Regional Asset Protection Manager, including Active Shooter, Armed Robbery, Alarm Response, Safety Compliance, and Policy/Procedures.
  • Oversees the fire safety program, including egress safety, review of ERP plan, and emergency evacuation drills.
  • Inspects fire safety equipment and logs.
  • Investigates losses related to theft, cycle counts, inventory, and transportation.
  • Supports the Asset Protection Manager in training initiatives and investigations.
  • Plays an active role in investigating internal and external incidents and supports appropriate action based on findings.
  • Partners with local law enforcement to report potential external threats.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and development for AP Supervisors and Specialists.
  • Supervises vendor guards and direct reports where applicable.
  • Conducts training for internal teams and vendor guards.
  • Maintains highly organized AP documentation.
  • Conducts boutique security assessments using the AP Checklist.
  • Ensures consistent functionality of all AP equipment in the location.
  • Manages vendor-related concerns.
  • Requires open flexibility in availability.

Supervisory Responsibility

Yes – coaches and indirectly supervises a team of Asset Protection Supervisors and Asset Protection Specialists.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of Asset Protection Management experience in a luxury setting.
  • Exemplary partnership and communication skills.
  • Basic investigative skills.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lift 0-25 lbs.

Pay

The range for this position is $77,654.00 - $85,746.00 annually. Actual rates are determined based on job, location, and individual experience.
