Asset Management Lead

YSI provides professional IT solutions and services to business corporations and government organizations. The Asset Management Lead position is based in Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal, AL and requires an active Secret clearance (TS/SCI/SAP may be required).

Responsibilities

• Manage government-owned IT assets using DPAS, ASTS, and other designated systems, including receiving, verification, barcoding, tagging, storage, transfers, and disposition.
• Maintain accurate property records, custody documentation, and hardware lifecycle tracking.
• Conduct quarterly, annual, and special inventories of government property, including sensitive IT equipment.
• Reconcile physical assets against system records, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain accurate property books and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with a MA/MS, or 12+ years with a BA/BS.
• Active Secret clearance (minimum); TS/SCI and/or SAP access may be required based on assigned responsibilities.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only.

Skills

• Strong DoD property/accountability and IT asset‑management experience, including property‑book processes, inventory, audits, corrective actions, material movement, and lifecycle management.
• DPAS/ASTS experience is highly relevant.

Pay

$110,000‑$120,000 annually (with benefits)
