Asset Management Associate
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare financial models for internal property valuations, dispositions, recapitalizations, lease analyses and waterfalls for joint-venture investments.
- Afford assistance in preparation, review and execution of annual property budgets and business plans.
- Accompany Asset Managers on property visits and market tours.
- Provide oversight and develop strong relationships with third-party property managers, leasing brokers and joint-venture partners.
- Work alongside owner’s construction representatives in the oversight of ground-up construction and redevelopment opportunities.
- Prepare presentation materials for Investment Committee including disposition and capital approval memos.
Skills and Competencies
- All candidates must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited institution, with preferred degrees in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics or related area.
- Must have strong academic credentials.
- Must have 3-5 years of real estate/finance experience, preferably including one or more of the following: portfolio analysis, commercial real estate valuation, cash flow forecasting, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, debt.
- Proven analytical skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of discounted cash flow analysis in Argus Enterprise and/or Excel required.
- Strong writing skills as well as verbal interpersonal/communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skillset and ability to run an assignment with little supervision.
- Ability to mentor Analysts.
- Ability to function both in a team-oriented setting and independently.
- Strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, and entrepreneurship.

Compensation
Competitive. The base pay scale for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 annually. Stockbridge’s base pay scale depends on geographic location, business line, years of experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. A discretionary annual bonus is also included in addition to base pay. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and STD & LTD insurance.
