ASSESSMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY DIRECTOR

General Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support in the core content areas to administrators, lead teachers, data specialist teams, classroom teachers, and other instructional staff responsible for teaching K-12.

Education And Experience

• Possess a Master's Degree in Education
• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Postgraduate Professional License with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision, Pre K-12
• Have at least five years of successful teaching experience
• School based administrative experience preferred
• Demonstrate current knowledge of, and the ability to apply, broad-based curriculum designs and instructional technology applications that support the diverse learning needs of students

Physical Requirements

• Sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls.
• Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to: a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine and projection and video devices.
• Able to engage in significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, or repetitive motions.
