Assembly Worker, Grab and Go

About the role

The Assembly Worker assembles ingredients into a finished product to fulfill customer orders, adheres to build sheets, and cleans the line when appropriate. They must be mindful of product counts and ingredient quality on the assembly line.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw product quality.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
• Retrieve necessary ingredients for setup or changeover of finished product.
• Verify that each finished item meets company quality standards by observing size, shape, and luster.
• Sanitize all materials and machinery parts between raw material allergen changes.
• Work as a team to ensure correct counts of products.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working in a Production environment.
• HACCP Certification preferred.

Skills

• Ability to effectively perform in a multi-tasking environment with frequent interruptions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a group setting or alone.
• Strong organization and active listening skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to assemble ingredients on a conveyor line.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with help.
• Ability to work in cold temperature rooms.

Work Environment

Production Warehouse environment.
